Highview Residences is pleased to share several important leadership updates that strengthen our organization today and support thoughtful growth ahead.
Effective January 1, 2025, COO Joy Birch will be promoted to President of Highview Residences. Joy has worked with our founders since 2013 and has helped shape our culture, operations, and long-term planning. Her leadership is steady, collaborative, and grounded in our Promise: Living + Dementia: Each Moment | By Design | With Love.
Also effective January 1, 2025, Katlynne Elgie has been promoted to Director, Operations & Corporate Clinical Lead. Katlynne has been a key leader since 2017, supporting the opening of our Kitchener Homes and guiding clinical excellence across all sites. Her present and hands-on leadership continues to strengthen our Homes every day.
We are also pleased to welcome back @KaitlinCarnegie as General Manager of Highview Kitchener, effective February 1, 2025. Kait previously worked at Highview from 2018 to 2021 and brings over 15 years of experience in retirement living, including dementia care, operations, and family support.
These updates deepen the leadership capacity across Highview as we continue to provide warm, secure, purpose-built Homes for people living with dementia — and as we prepare for thoughtful growth in the years ahead.
